ABSTRACT
RESUMEN La labor psicológica relacionada con la lucha y control del cáncer cobra cada vez mayor importancia, teniendo en cuenta que este se declara entre las primeras causas de muerte a nivel mundial. El presente trabajo científico tiene como objetivo fundamentar, desde el punto de vista teórico, la Estrategia de atención psicológica domiciliaria dirigida a mejorar la prevención y tratamiento del cáncer en el Consejo Popular San Juan de Dios, desde un enfoque biopsicosocial, con énfasis en la atención integral a domicilio al paciente dispensarizado por cáncer y a su familia. Además, se exponen las distintas etapas que la conforman, sus objetivos y las acciones que se ejecutaron. Para el estudio piloto se seleccionó el consultorio médico 29 del área de salud perteneciente al Policlínico Universitario José Martí Pérez, de Camagüey. Los resultados actuales derivan del proyecto de investigación Estrategia de intervención sociopsicológica para la prevención y tratamiento del cáncer en la atención primaria de Salud, que gestiona el Centro para el Desarrollo de las Ciencias Sociales y Humanísticas en Salud, de la Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Camagüey y cuyo proceso de ejecución corresponde al período 2016-2021.
ABSTRACT Psychological work related to the fight and control of cancer is becoming increasingly important, taking into account that it is declared among the leading causes of death worldwide. The present scientific work aims to establish, from a theoretical point of view, the Home Psychological Care Strategy aimed at improving the prevention and treatment of cancer in the San Juan de Dios Popular Council, from a biopsychosocial approach, with an emphasis on Comprehensive home care for cancer patients and their families. In addition, the different stages that comprise it, their objectives and the actions that were carried out are exposed. For the pilot study, medical office 29 of the health area belonging to the José Martí Pérez University Polyclinic, in Camagüey, was selected. The current results derive from the research project Socio-psychological intervention strategy for the prevention and treatment of cancer in primary health care, which manages the Center for the Development of Social and Humanistic Sciences in Health, of the University of Medical Sciences of Camagüey and whose execution process corresponds to the period 2016-2021.

RESUMEN Fundamento: el cáncer constituye una de las primeras causas de muerte a nivel mundial, con serias implicaciones psicológicas, familiares y sociales. Su prevención implica un reto que es necesario asumir, se tienen en cuenta todas las dimensiones de la enfermedad, su vertiente psicológica y social. Objetivo: describir los resultados del diagnóstico psicosocial realizado para la prevención del cáncer. Métodos: se realizó un estudio descriptivo transversal cuanti-cualitativo para el diagnóstico de la prevención del cáncer en el consultorio 29 del Consejo Popular San Juan de Dios, desde un enfoque psicosocial. El universo estuvo conformado por 18 casos dispensarizados con diagnóstico de cáncer, a los cuales se le sumaron sus familiares, y 27 familias designadas por el Equipo Básico de Salud como familias de riesgo, además se entrevistaron psicólogos, médicos y especialistas de oncología. Resultados: se mostraron deficiencias en las acciones de prevención que se realizan en la comunidad y en la atención integral al paciente oncológico y su familia, desde un enfoque psicosocial. Conclusiones: el diagnóstico develó la necesidad de la atención psicológica domiciliaria y el impacto que pueden tener las intervenciones psicosociales en el contexto comunitario para la prevención del cáncer.
ABSTRACT Background: cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, with serious psychological, family and social implications. Its prevention implies a challenge that is necessary to take into account all the dimensions of the disease, fundamentally its psychological and social aspect. Objective: to describe the results of the psychosocial diagnosis carried out for the prevention of cancer. Methods: a quantitative-qualitative, cross-sectional, descriptive study was carried out for the diagnosis of cancer prevention in the 29th office of the San Juan de Dios People's Council, from a psychosocial perspective. The universe consisted of 18 registered cases with a diagnosis of cancer, to which are added their families, and 27 families designated by the Basic Health Team as risk families. Psychologists, doctors and oncology specialists were also interviewed. Results: there were deficiencies in the prevention actions that are carried out in the community and in the integral care of the oncological patient and his family, from a psychosocial approach. Conclusions: the diagnosis revealed the need for home psychological care and the impact that psychosocial interventions can have in the community context for the prevention of cancer.

RESUMEN El cáncer constituye un serio problema de salud y una de las primeras causas de muerte a nivel mundial, con serias repercusiones sociales, sicológicas, y familiares. Actualmente su prevención y control representa un reto que es necesario asumir teniendo en cuenta todas sus dimensiones. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo exponer los fundamentos teóricos de la estrategia de intervención sicosocial para la prevención y tratamiento del cáncer en el consejo popular San Juan de Dios. Se revela la fundamentación teórica de la estrategia de intervención desde los diferentes aparatos conceptuales de las ciencias sociales y se hace énfasis en los enfoques sociológicos y sicológicos. Se ofrece el diseño de la estrategia con todos los aspectos contentivos, y se describen las diferentes etapas que la comprenden.
ABSTRACT Cancer constitutes a serious problem of health and one of the first causes of death on a global scale, with serious social, psychological, and familiar aftereffects. At present its prevention and control represents a challenge that is necessary to accept bearing in mind all its dimensions. The present work has as objective to exhibit the theoretical basis of the strategy of psychosocial intervention for the prevention and treatment of the cancer in the popular council San Juan de Dios. It reveals the theoretical foundation of the strategy of intervention from the different conceptual devices of the social sciences and emphasizes on the sociological and psychological approaches. The design of the strategy is offered with all the comprising aspects, and there are described the different stages that comprise it.
